New Teacher Resources

Teacher Websites

Your school and teacher website is the FIRST PLACE your parents, students and community will visit to look for updated information on school events, assignments and homework.

Every teacher has his/her own place on the school website to showcase what is happening in your classroom. Parents and students alike enjoy website resources, classwork and homework instructions to practice with each and every week.

After logging in, please give us time to add your teacher website permissions (usually 24 hours or before) and then you can use the instructions below to edit at any time!

PLEASE NOTE: THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS CAN ONLY BE COMPLETED AFTER YOU RESET YOUR INITIAL OFFICE 365 EMAIL PASSWORD.

  1. Go to www.desotocountyschools.org.
  2. Click the "Our Schools" link in the navigation menu at the top.
  3. Choose the correct school.
  4. Click the “Login” link in the upper right-hand corner.
  5. Click the blue “Login” button.
  6. If you are already logged in to your Office 365 account, your browser will automatically log you in. If you are not logged in to Office 365, enter your DCS email address in the first box. (example: john.smith@dcsms.org)
  7. Type in your Office 365 password in the password box.
  8. Click “Login.”
  9. Navigate to the Staff/Teacher Websites link at the top and click on your name.
  10. Click the "Edit Page" button in the upper right-hand corner of the window.
  11. Click the blue CONTINUE button to edit and update your teacher website.
  12. Make your changes.
  13. Click the "Publish" icon in the upper left-hand corner of the window to Save.
